Milken Scholars Program (General):  Founded in 1989 by Lori and Michael Milken to honor exceptional young individuals based on their academic performance, community service, leadership activities and ability to overcome obstacles. By identifying these extraordinarily talented youth and providing them with resources and networks, to help themselves and those around them, the program aims to support Milken Scholars in their high school to college transition, and throughout their academic and professional careers. Scholars are provided financial assistance, academic support, mentoring, and a lifetime of access to professional resources and events tailored for their continued success such as the Annual Summits and tri-annual Alumni Symposiums.  In 2014, the Milken Scholars Program became a joint initiative of the Milken Family Foundation and the Milken Institute thanks to the generous support of donors like you. Please contact Evelyn Torres etorres@milkeninstitute.org for more information or click www.milkenscholars.org to learn more about the Program.

Milken Scholars Alumni Fund: The Milken Scholars Program is composed of many Alumni Scholars pursuing selfless career paths that are often not remunerative, hence making them susceptible to hardships that can be alleviated through financial assistance. In other cases, Milken Scholar Alumni may not pursue opportunities to advance their careers given the costs associated with desired courses and conferences. The Milken Scholars Alumni Fund was established by Alumni to raise funds that will help Milken Scholars Alumni weather life’s challenges in an increasingly uncertain world.  100% of your donation will go towards helping an Alumni Scholar who needs financial assistance to get through a financial/medical emergency, or pursue a professional development activity that will clearly and meaningfully benefit their career. The Alumni Fund is not intended to and will not replace any of the financial support that the Milken Scholar Program currently has in place. Please contact Evelyn Torres etorres@milkeninstitute.org for more information or click www.milkenscholars.org to learn more about the Program.
